United Real Estate Company signs MOU with Real Estate Association

United Real Estate Company (URC), a leading real estate developer in the MENA region and headquartered in Kuwait, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Real Estate Association (REA), a local leading non-profit organization established to promote learning and development opportunities for real estate professionals in Kuwait.

URC and REA will explore opportunities to develop and conduct a series of real estate training programs for interested candidates in Kuwait throughout 2013.

The courses will include a broad range of topics related to the real estate sector and will be taught by international institutions.

URC's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mohammed Ahmad Al Saqqaf said, "This agreement introduces a great number of new opportunities for employees in Kuwait's real estate sector. The training programs we are jointly developing with REA will enhance the skills and knowledge of real estate professionals and be of practical use to them in developing their careers.

"URC's corporate social responsibility strategy is designed to contribute to our society by actively promoting learning and growth opportunities, and today's agreement with REA helps to underline our commitment in this area."

REA's Secretary General Ahmed Fares Al Dowhees added, "Real Estate Association is pleased to cooperate with URC by signing this Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement emphasizes URC's belief in the importance of training programs in areas of real estate development."

Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences will have a prominent role in supporting these training programs by communicating with the REA and URC during the next phase.

In line with the requirements of the development strategy, REA has extensive experience in managing and implementing development programs and is committed to providing activities and programs to increase skills and knowledge in the real estate sector.
