University of Dubai opens Spring registration

As one of the leading higher education institutes in the United Arab Emirates, the University of Dubai is offering bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Computing and Information Systems, as well as master degrees. UD is the only university in Dubai to have the international AACSB accreditation for its Business programme.

Bidayaat will take place in the university's Masaood building on Thursday, February 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The programme is organized by the Department of Student Services in collaboration with the UD Student Council to introduce freshman students to the university experience, environment and campus facilities.

New students will be able to meet student club representatives, learn about student life and the various departments of the university, take campus tours and enjoy a range of fun activities including games and raffle drawings.

Head of the Department of Student Services, Ahmed Fares, said, "Although the Spring Semester enrollment is traditionally smaller than Fall Semester, we always take the time to welcome our new students and make them feel at home. Thanks to the work of our great student volunteers, Bidayaat makes it easy for new students to instantly feel part of the UD community."
