Christopher further informed us "Banking and Financial services went through unprecedented growth from 2002 till 2008. This growth often came at the cost of reduced focus on achieving optimum output levels, hence, when the crisis of 2008 came most companies reacted by massive cost cutting across initiatives. Had these companies proactively .5focused on achieving optimum output levels through intelligent use of technology, process improvement, change management the impact would have been less severe."

According to him the OPEX 2012 - The Financial COO Event of the Year will benefit the attendees by gaining " In depth understanding of how leading organizations in the Middle East are achieving operational excellence, understanding how Global Best Practices are implemented 'Locally', and through opportunities to interact with leading COO's / Senior Managers through panel discussions and networking opportunities."
