Upgrade of Voltamp's Rusayl facility to completed by March 2013

Oman's leading transformer producer Voltamp Energy has announced the modernisation programme of its Rusayl factory is set to be completed by March 2013, Times of Oman has reported. "The modernisation programme will optimise the manufacturing process. And the look and the feel of the factory will improve. It will become a modern factory. We are carrying out the modernisation programme without affecting production," Alok Bhargava, chief executive of Voltamp Energy, told the daily. The company has posted a 39.34% fall in net profit at OR761,594 for the first nine months of 2012, compared with OR1.25m for the same period last year.
