- PRESS RELEASE
UK based Viamed is heading to the United Arab Emirates to explore global opportunities for its innovations at the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East - Arab Health 2013. Viamed will be showcasing its range of pulse oximeters and capnography monitors at the exhibition, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 28th - 31st January.
Viamed plans to meet with current distributors, as well as explore new opportunities within regions of the Middle East.
Viamed's finger pulse oximeters are one of the leading ranges on the market, including fast and accurate measurement of SpO2 and pulse rate, even in cases of low perfusion.
Each unit is an extremely economical piece of equipment and can be used in a variety of environments providing large digit display formats, colour coded signal quality and signal strength indicator. These durable and compact units utilise 16 bit processing technology, enabling a fast 'true reading' response.
Capnography is the monitoring of the concentration or partial pressure of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the respiratory gases, mainly used in monitoring during resuscitation, anaesthesia and intensive care. Viamed will be exhibiting a number of its Capnographs at Arab Health, including the VM-2500-MG Capnograph with Multigas.
The VM-2500MG Capnograph with Multigas monitor has a ultra-compact ergonomic design, is light and easy to handle providing the perfect flexible and mobile monitor for identifying and quantifying the five most important anaesthetic agents as well as other gases and parameters. The VM-2500MG combines outstanding performance and reliability in pulse oximetry and mainstream monitoring of anaesthetic agents and CO2. This direct mainstream measurement means there is no monitoring time delay.
Steve Nixon, Viamed's Commercial Director, said, "Our products are designed to combine improved clinical care for the patient whilst also having a long-term positive impact on the cost savings for the care provider - and this has clearly been borne out by our continued success in markets across the world and particularly in the Middle East."
"We look forward to meeting our existing customers and distributors at Arab Health and also hope to find new distributors for areas where we are not currently represented," he added.
Arab Health 2012 runs from the 28th to the 31st of January in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Viamed will be exhibiting in Hall 7 at Stand 7B15.
