Vice Chairman of Supreme Council of Energy meets Chairman of CCPIT in China

HE Wan Jifei, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), received the delegation of the Supreme Council of Energy headed by its Vice Chairman, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer.
Wan welcomed the Supreme Council's delegation, which is on a business visit to Beijing to explore joint collaboration with Chinese businesses on energy, electricity and water projects, and to look at their achievements in the areas of clean energy, alternative energy sources and reducing power grid losses.
Wan praised the solid relations between China and the UAE. The meeting also focused on strengthening relations between the two countries in general, and between China and Dubai in particular, in energy, renewable energy and trade.
Al Tayer extended an invitation to the CCPIT to attend Dubai Global Energy Forum 2013, which will be organized for the second year under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, under the theme Clean Energy For Sustainable Development. This high-profile event will take place at the same time as the 15th WETEX 2013 during 15-17 April, 2013 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Al Tayer briefed the Chinese about Dubai's strategic drive in developing renewable energy. The delegation also held discussions with Chinese companies to explore investment opportunities and participating in exhibitions and projects.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides exchanged shields and gifts, and Al Tayer presented the book written by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, entitled My Vision, to Mr. Wan.
