Kuwait-based Zain has signed an agreement with Vodafone enabling the British operator to work in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq, The Telegraph has reported. "Our agreement with Zain provides an opportunity for Vodafone to build its presence and work with a leading operator in the Middle East," said Ravinder Takkar, chief executive of Vodafone Partner Markets.
