  • PRESS RELEASE

From a race against sky divers to pulling ships, entrants of Nissan Middle East's 'Nissan Patrol Challenge' have been exploring all possibilities - and even impossibilities - for the 'Hero of All Terrain'.

With the hundreds of entries now shortlisted to just ten of the most challenging but feasible feats, Nissan is inviting everyone to be a part of the judging and cast a vote for their favourite on the Nissan Middle East Facebook page.

A once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan is the ultimate prize awaiting the person whose 'Nissan Patrol Challenge' is selected by online voters and Nissan's panel of expert judges. They may also see their idea brought to life by Nissan Middle East.

"The response to 'Nissan Patrol Challenge' has been enthusiastic with creative and diverse suggestions reflecting the popularity of our iconic 'Hero of All Terrain'," said Samir Cherfan, Sales and Marketing Director, Nissan Middle East. "We thank the many hundreds of people who have taken part and look forward to seeing which of the ten remaining ideas is the most popular with our Facebook fans."

Those wishing to participate in the 'Nissan Patrol Challenge' voting need simply log on to the Nissan Patrol microsite or Nissan Middle East's Facebook page. From here, they can then cast their vote.

The panel of judges who have selected the top ten shortlist are automotive, creative and marketing experts.

• First prize for the Nissan Patrol Challenge winner will be a complimentary trip to Japan for two persons - the complimentary trip includes hotel accommodation (Nissan's selection) for up to five nights, and special visits to Nissan's manufacturing plants.

• The top ten shortlisted applicants will enjoy a Nissan Patrol weekend test drive.

• The first 200 applicants will receive gifts from Nissan Middle East.
