Warba Bank management team exceeds 75% Kuwaitization level

Anas Yousef Al Ateeqi, Chief Human Resources Officer at Warba Bank, today announced that Kuwaitization at the management level of the bank has crossed the 75%.

This demonstrates the commitment of Warba Bank to utilize the leadership qualities of Kuwaitis.

Despite the number of challenges, Warba Bank has been able to achieve this figure. Due to a lack of Kuwaiti recruits in some sectors, the bank provided training to young Nationals with high qualifications, enabling it to achieve Kuwaitization in some departments, including Corporate, Retail and HR, of 98%.

Reflecting Warba's commitment to employ local expertise and talent the bank has achieved Kuwaitization over 60%, across its operations. As it enters its next phase of growth, the bank will now look to build on these foundations.

Al Ateeqi said: "We firmly believe in the importance of human capital, particularly Kuwait Nationals, and have been fully committed since the beginning to support Kuwaitization. We are also keen on helping to develop professional skills across the country." "Warba's strategy will support promising Kuwaiti talent in the banking sector in addition to providing them with suitable employment opportunities."

"Staffing Warba Bank with experienced Kuwaiti nationals will help elevate the bank's status in Kuwait. This is in addition to the bank's active role in supporting Kuwaiti society by providing fruitful employment opportunities," added Al Ateeqi.
