Watercooled and Hilton Abu Dhabi sign agreement to bring '5 star' watersports activities to Abu Dhabi

Watercooled Watersports, the global provider of watersports equipment and instruction centres has signed an agreement with Hilton Abu Dhabi to offer watersports activities to the guests staying at the hotel together with members of its Hiltonia Beach Club.
Over the next few weeks, work will begin on building Watercooled's stylish and chic 'Clubhouse' creating a unique setting at the Hiltonia for a new generation of watersports enthusiasts in Abu Dhabi.
Watercooled's brand new, top-of-the range equipment, suitable for all age-ranges and experience levels, is also arriving over the next few weeks ready to transform watersports on the Corniche.
The Watercooled Centre will provide tuition and training from experienced and fully qualified instructors as well as basic equipment hire. Accreditation of internationally recognised qualifications from the RYA (Royal Yachting Association) is also planned as part of the Watercooled courses programme and is available to groups, schools and individuals.
The first phase of Watercooled's opening at the Hilton will provide a snapshot of what the eventual finished Centre will have on offer, with each month bringing additional Watercooled features.
The different watersports on offer from this exciting new centre will include dinghy sailing (RS Quba, Feva, Vision, 500), Hobie Catamaran, stand up paddle boards, windsurfers, kayaks, water-skiing, wake boarding Zap Cat thrill rides, towed inflatables and fishing trips.
The exciting new centre will provide basic kit hire (fully assembled and rigged 'ready to go' for convenience and assurance) for 'free-sailing' (rates available by the hour, day or week) or organised individual, group or school lessons for those needing instruction. Corporate programmes and events can also be accommodated. A programme of sailing events with a racing schedule for enthusiasts wanting to take their watersports to the next level is currently being planned, together with a variety of improver sailing courses and workshops.
Meanwhile for those who just want to relax whilst afloat, yoga on a stand up paddle board courses will also be available. Tim Adams Managing Director for Watercooled, said, "We are very excited about bringing Watercooled to Abu Dhabi and in particular to Hilton Abu Dhabi, the perfect waterside setting in a city with great marine heritage. Watersports' lovers in the UAE now have two 5 star world-class centres to choose from with Watercooled Abu Dhabi at the Hilton and Watercooled Dubai at a leading hotel in Jebel Ali."
The Hilton Abu Dhabi is the ideal location for a Watercooled watersports centre as it offers a safe environment to learn in at a central location in the heart of Abu Dhabi, yet with plenty of space for more experienced sailors to fulfil their potential.

The ethos of Watercooled is very much focused on safety first which is achieved by maintaining the equipment thoroughly to ensure the highest of standards and by offering tuition from staff that are fully trained to RYA (Royal Yachting Association) levels. Watercooled also has its very own accreditation in place allowing guests to improve their qualifications or 'pick up where they last left off' at any of the Watercooled watersports centres worldwide. The Centre in Abu Dhabi is due to open on the 29th November and bookings are now open.
