Waveline Media joins the Mobile Marketing Association

Waveline Media, the leading mobile marketing firm and owner of the Yabila! Platform and Waveline Ad Network, announced it has become a member of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), a highly credible global trade association representing all players in the mobile marketing value chain.

With the enormous growth of smartphones devices in the MENA region, Waveline Media positions itself as a full-service mobile marketing firm with operational offices in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, providing brands and agencies in the MENA region with innovative mobile marketing strategies that simply bring results. The company owns and operates two core mobile products: Yabila! Mobile Advertising Platform and Waveline Ad Network, and offers mobile strategy, mobile media planning & buying, and mobile campaign optimization services.

"We at Waveline Media are delighted to join the Mobile Marketing Association, an esteemed establishment well known for its contributions to the mobile marketing ecosystem. By using MMA's guidelines for best-in-class mobile advertising strategies, we believe we can further enhance and optimize our mobile ad products to generate more tangible, effective results for our advertisers", says Abdur-Rahman El-Sayed, Managing Director of Waveline Media.

"Mobile is becoming an increasingly important channel in the Middle East and we are really pleased to see Waveline Media leading the charge towards developing the channel in the region," said Paul Berney, Managing Director EMEA for the MMA. "We look forward to getting Waveline Media more involved in our initiatives and hope to see many more Kuwaiti companies follow suit in the months to come."

Launched in 2010, Yabila! is a permission-based mobile advertising platform serving both consumers and brands in the MENA region. For consumers, Yabila! enables them to shop smartly by providing them with a daily guide of the hottest deals, promotions, and new arrivals in their city. Consumers can conveniently stay up-to-date with their favorite brands via the Yabila! iPhone App, Yabila! Android App, or Yabila.com Portal. For brands and advertisers, Yabila! empowers them to effectively reach and communicate with their target audience via measurable "in the pocket" advertising channels. In Kuwait only, Yabila! attracts over 350,000 active users and over 125 repeat advertisers, such as Starbucks, Turkish Airlines, Mercedes-Benz, H&M, Movenpick, Zain, Gulf Bank, and many others. Yabila! was recently launched in Saudi Arabia and Qatar as well, with plans to expand to the remaining countries in the MENA region.

Waveline Ad Network, on the other hand, is a network of highly addictive mobile apps, developed internally by the company's engineers, providing daily content and entertainment services to MENA consumers. The network generated over 15 million monthly mobile impressions with over four million downloads to date. Brands are able to advertise on the network and reach a significant number of high purchasing-power consumers in the MENA region, whether to raise brand awareness, increase purchase intent, or generate actual leads. In light of this, Waveline Media provides its clients with mobile campaign optimization services, measuring the effectiveness of the campaign by optimizing ad-delivery based on user behavior and actual conversions, assuring the highest level of ROI for its clients.
