Waveline Media launches personalized news app: Nabd

In keeping with its long-held legacy of providing innovative and meaningful applications to users across various tiers and interests, Waveline Media has recently launched a new application; Nabd, which is a personalized news reader application aimed at keeping users abreast of developments around the world, by delivering Arabic content to their mobile phones.
According to Mr. Abdur-Rahman El-Sayed - Managing Director at Waveline Media - "We simply believe this application will be the main destination for people wanting to read news on their mobile devices, which is currently a growing trend thanks to the proliferation of convenient smart devices that seamlessly avail all sorts of information to the user. It is also a huge complement to our Waveline Network, where advertisers can reach their target audiences by effectively promoting their campaigns to larger segments on an on-going basis."
So far, Nabd has received rave reviews by users, who have commended its user-friendly features, clarity and organized display; calling for its release for other smart phone makes and models and to increase the channels it covers. The application display news content in a mobile-friendly way and provides instant updates; while also including a "search" functionality that enables users to search for news within their selected sources, or in all sources.
As described by Mr. Salim Hatoum - Account Director at Waveline Media - "Nabd is a "Digital Encyclopedia of News sources" as it the first unique application of its kind in the Arab world. It contains dedicated news sections for Sports and Technology; with the anticipated addition of more news sections in the near future to accommodate users of different age groups, gender and interests."
Nabd is currently available for iPhones and can be found via Apple's AppStore. It is ranked as the top application in the news category in both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
