Westcon Group to host 'CONNECT 2012' during Gitex

Westcon will be hosting a hospitality suite between 15th - 17th, October 2012 in the 'Sublime lounge' at the IBIS hotel, conveniently located at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) where Gitex will be taking place.

Speaking about CONNECT 2012, Steve Lockie, Managing Director, Westcon Group says, "Gitex is a platform where the entire Middle East ICT community as well as leading global vendors converge to discuss business. We decided that it was an opportune time for us to host an event in a relaxed lounge setting, away from the buzz of Gitex, but close enough to be convenient to meet and greet vendors and channel partners visiting the show. CONNECT is an ideal opportunity for channel partners to meet with management executives of Comstor, Westcon Convergence, Westcon Security, Westcon Mobility, Westcon Critical Infrastructure and the newly opened Service Provider unit."

The hospitality suite is extended by Westcon to its vendors for branding and meeting opportunities. The lounge will be open for Westcon vendors and channel partners between 10:00 - 17:00 hrs on all three days.
