WIDAM signs agreement with Department of Supply

Qatar Company for Meat & Livestock Trading-'WIDAM' (formerly Mawashi), has signed a cooperation agreement with the Department of Supply in the Central Tenders Committee for the company to be one of the main distributors of the subsidized feed in the State of Qatar.
"Based on our commitment to cattle breeders and in order to facilitate their work, and to continue supporting our shareholders, we have signed a coordination agreement with the Department of Supply allowing us to distribute subsidized feed," he added.
Jamil Omran, Sales and Marketing Manager at Widam said, "Since we are available at the central market, we expect heavy demand, but we can confirm to all our clients and customers that all sales processes of subsidized feed will be simply and well-managed. WIDAM has provided special locations and private stores for these processes, and the company's employees will be available every day from 5.00 am to 5.00 pm and on Fridays from 5.00 am to 10.30 am and from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm in order to provide any assistance and support for all Qatari cattle breeders. In the future, we will establish new selling points to cover all of Doha, which will be revealed at a later stage."
WIDAM will commence the selling process of the subsidized feed that consists of barley and Shuar, on 10 March 2013, through the main outlet located in the Central Market. The sale of the subsidized feed will be limited to Qatari cattle breeders, by the State's predetermined amounts and approved prices at SR16 for barley and 10 Riyals for shuar.
In addition to the subsidized feed, WIDAM also offer to all its clients a wide variety of feed ranging from Qatar to Australia to America to Sudan to Iran and the UAE.
