Women speakers stole the show at the 4th Leadership Congress was held in Sharjah recently under the aegis of Alleem Knowledge Center. They were Shyleswari Rao, Founder, Ved Vyes Inner Space in India, Dr. Flevy Lasrado, Head, Planning and Quality Assurance at Sharjah Institute of Technology; Carol Talbot of Matrix Training Solutions in Dubai, Debi Beattie of EdICT Training Ltd. in the UK, Eman Al Mail of Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority, and Muthy Zaahirah Zabeen of STYRO Ltd. in Sharjah.

Dr. Rashid Alleem, Founder & Chairman of Alleem Knowledge Center and Director General of Sharjah Department of Seaports & Customs and Sharjah Free Zones Authority invigorated the audience with a lively presentation and shared his leadership experience for creating Hamriyah Free Zone into a genuine success story - from 76 companies in March 2000 to about 6,000 now with its extended reach to investors and customers across six major continents.
Dr Rashid highlighted a 360 degree leadership philosophy with a key word 'NEWS' which encompasses the four horizons of Business & world together. NEWS is short for; NATURE, ECONOMY, WORLD and SOCIAL which conveys a true sense of sustainable development and have answers to cope with Global challenges.
Dr. Alleem also strongly recommended the formation of the Ministry of Leadership. His presentation on 'Leading in Tomorrow's World' evinced a thunderous applause from a large number of delegates comprising intellectuals, leaders from trade & industry and academia, opinion builders and NGOs.
An exhibition participated by leading companies and Non-Government Organizations like Rashid Center for disabled was the highlight of the congress.
