Two world premiering cars sold at the 2013 Qatar Motor Show

Excitement was in the air at the 2013 Qatar Motor Show as it was announced that two cars premiering for the first time anywhere found new owners at the event. W Motors, designers of the Arab world's first hyper car, and Brabus, a high-performance aftermarket tuning company, both confirmed that their latest models have been bought during the Show.
The car is priced at 3.5 million dollars (nearly 13 million Qatari riyals), with the new owner also walking away with a Special Edition Cyrus Klepcy Watch, worth over 200,000 US dollars (almost 730,000 Qatari riyals). Six more of these engineering marvels are left, so it's not too late to pick your own!
In addition, Brabus, a high-performance aftermarket tuning company, chose the 2013 Qatar Motor Show to unveil its latest model, the BrabusWidestar 800, based on the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG.
This high performance SUV has impressive numbers both on and off the road, featuring a V 12 6.0-liter turbocharged engine churning out an incredible 800HP, and can hit a 100 km/hr in just over 4.0 seconds. This super-powered Mercedes was purchased for an undisclosed sum on the second day of the motor show.
Both high-profile purchases are testament to the fact that Qatar Motor Show has become the platform of choice for manufacturers worldwide of high-end and exclusive cars, as they turn to the show to debut and showcase their latest state-of-the-art models, with the increased likelihood that they will find a buyer.
The 2013 Qatar Motor Show, hosted by the Qatar Tourism Authority with q.media Events and GL Events, will run until February 2nd.
