New York Film Academy to hold photography workshops in Saudi Arabia

The New York Film Academy will be in Saudi Arabia conducting filmmaking and photography workshops, in addition to information sessions for potential students interested in attending the school.

NYFA professor, Brian Dilg will teach the hands-on workshop for interested participants. The events will start in Jeddah on April 13th, 2013 at 8:00pm (Exact location TBD).

From there, NYFA will head to Riyadh on April 16th, 2013 from 1:00pm-1:50pm at the Riyadh International Exhibition & Convention Center, Room A. Then, on April 17th 11:00am-11:50am at the Riyadh International Exhibition & Convention Center, Room C. Joining professor Dilg will be NYFA's Dean of Enrollment Services, Tami Alexander. This will be Tami's fourth trip back to Saudi Arabia. "I cannot believe the level of talent every time I come to Saudi Arabia," said Tami. "We recognize the overwhelming enthusiasm for acting, filmmaking, and photography in Saudi Arabia and we welcome students from all around the world."

The New York Film Academy is listed as a recommended school by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Higher Education and is considered the best hands-on film school in the world by many of today's top filmmakers. NYFA is honored to be the school of choice for many Hollywood filmmakers, actors, and figures from the entertainment world who have sent a son, daughter or a family member to study with us. They include: Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Robert Downey Jr., Warren Beatty and Al Pacino. The Film Academy offers Degree Programs in Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Fine Arts and Associate of Fine Arts. Additionally, the Academy offers One and Two-Year Conservatory Programs. Short-term workshops ranging from one to eight weeks are also offered at our six year-round locations in New York City; Universal Studios in Hollywood; Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates; Australia; Florence, Italy; and New Delhi, India. In June, July and August, we bring our short-term film and acting workshops to Paris, France; Florence, Italy; Beijing, China; Harvard University; and Disney Studios, Florida.
