In his new role Yousef Al-Jaida will take responsibility for the overall strategic development of the QFC Authority.
Yousef Al-Jaida joined the QFC Authority in August 2010 as Director, Strategic Development - Asset Management and Banking.
Abdulrahman Ahmad Al-Shaibi, Managing Director of the QFC Authority and Member of the QFC Authority Board, said: "I am delighted that Yousef Al-Jaida has taken this new role. His experience and deep knowledge of the QFC Authority will be instrumental in in promoting our strategy and further raising our profile globally."
Shashank Srivastava, CEO and Board Member of the QFC Authority said: "Yousef Al-Jaida has successfully led the development of a central part of the QFC Authority's strategy, building up our presence in Asset Management and Banking. With Yousef now responsible for the overall strategic development of the QFC Authority, I am confident we will continue to make progress in serving Qatar's financial sector and strengthening our position as a leading financial centre."
