YouTube analytics receive new enhancements

Google Inc. has introduced more analytics on YouTube to enable broadcasters to better interpret their content. Google said it will now focus more on the amount of time users spend watching videos on YouTube. It enhanced the 'Views' report to show more time-watched data. YouTube product manager, Ted Hamilton said that the 'Date' slider is back, allowing users to quickly adjust the date range and see how their videos perform across different time periods. YouTube also enhanced the metadata section for videos and channels and the 'Compare Metrics,' which provides users with more ways to compare trends and patterns across two different metrics.
