- PRESS RELEASE
Zain, the telecommunications company in Kuwait, announced that its customers can now enjoy the 4G network technology on their iPhone 5 devices after Apple Inc. had revealed the applicability of 4G LTE network support on iOS6 operating systems.
It is worth noting that Apple Inc. has stated that iPhone 5 customers will be able to connect to Zain's nationwide LTE network, giving Zain the opportunity to value its strategic relations with Apple Inc. Subsequently, this has allowed Zain to provide its customers with both its most advanced network services and Apple's latest generations of devices combined with competitive Zain bundles.
By doing so, Zain has continued its pledge of providing its customers with the latest technology "4G LTE" service that is now available on routers, e-GO, Hotspots and a number of handsets.
Customers who have purchased their iPhone 5 device from Zain and have subscribed to one of Zain's iPhone 5 bundles, can now easily enjoy the 4G Lite service by following few simple steps. To activate the 4G Lite service, customers need to select 'Settings' on their iPhone device, then select 'General' and choose 'Software Update' and follow the prompts to enjoy the 4G LTE world.
In case customers have not purchased their iPhone 5 device from Zain, they need to ensure that the device model is GSM A1429, which is the only model compatible with Zain's 4G LTE network - any other version will not work. Customers who already have the device with a compatible model may upgrade their subscriptions to enjoy LTE internet on their handsets, by either calling 107 or visiting a branch.
The new iPhone 5; which is an addition to Apple Inc's range of devices, is considered an evolution to the telecommunications sector due to the numerous advantages it possesses, especially being the slimmest, lightest and largest screened device within the iPhone line of smartphones.
The uniquely designed device is equipped with a Retina screen display along with an A6 chip specially designed by Apple. It is powered by the IOS operating system and is high speed wireless enabled along with an enhanced battery life along with 200 integrated features, applications and a New Maps application. It also features the new Facebook application that offers enhanced interaction and the PassBook application that is solely designed to facilitate airlines services such as ticketing.
