Zara Investment Holding concludes the rehabilitation of A 23-room hotel at 'Salt Vocational Training Center'

In its ongoing cooperation with the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) in training and developing qualified human resources for the tourism industry, Zara recently concluded the development of a 23-room hotel at "Salt Vocational Training Center".
This latest project builds on a firm longstanding partnership between Zara and the VTC. Over the past few years the hotels of Zara welcomed hundreds of VTC students for training. Moreover, the hotels of Zara provide on yearly basis employment opportunities to a large number of the VTC trainees in question.
On Tuesday December 4th, their Excellencies Mr. Nayef H. Al Fayez, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities / Environment and Dr. WajihOweis, Minister of Education / Higher Education and Research along with the representative of the Minister of Labor the director general of the VTC Mr. MajidHabashneh visited the Center in Salt. During this visit their Excellencies attended a brief on the hotel rehabilitation project presented by LinaAnnab, the general manager of Zara. In addition, they got a chance to mingle with the students at the Center.
"Saltos Hotel" is at the heart of and in line with the efforts of Zara to forge partnerships with the public sector aimed at improving the caliber and standards of players in the tourism industry. It is hoped that "Saltos Hotel" would eventually become a model facility for others to emulate throughout Jordan.
During its pre-opening phase, the hotel is expected to receive guests starting mid-January 2013, and will become fully operational three months afterwards. Services offered by the hotel will include modern guest rooms, laundry facility, meeting facilities, and limited food and beverage offerings. The hotel will also focus on providing entertainment programs for local activities aimed at raising awareness about the rich heritage of the City of Salt, which is hoped to positively impact tourism there.
