Zawawi Mercedes-Benz keeps customers trucking with new Commercial Vehicle appointment

  • Oman: Monday, September 24 - 2012 at 13:20

Zawawi Trading Company (ZTC) - the authorised general distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Oman - has marked another milestone in its drive to be the benchmark for customer care in the Sultanate, appointing a new Commercial Vehicle Workshop Manager - Michael Heeke - to its After-Sales division.

Trained by Mercedes-Benz in Germany, Heeke contributes nearly 20 years of Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle experience to the ZTC After-Sales division. Well accustomed to the needs and requirements of Middle Eastern customers, Heeke moves to his new position at ZTC following over six years as Commercial Vehicles Workshop Manager with the Kuwaiti Mercedes-Benz authorised dealer.

Heeke joins a team of international professionals tasked with improving ZTC's current After Sales offering with plans for a stronger focus on long-term client relationships, and more personalised customer experience.

Emphasis on the improvement of Mercedes-Benz After-Sales at ZTC forms an integral part of an ambitious roadmap to become the market leader in Oman for both the luxury and commercial vehicle segments within five years.

Plans also include the expansion of service facilities throughout the Sultanate - with the Muscat showroom currently undergoing a major facelift - special events, bespoke service menus and contracts that will cater for every customer need.

Welcoming Heeke, Craig Hardie, CEO - Automotive, Zawawi Trading Company, said: "In welcoming another expert to the team, ZTC sets the bar higher once more for the After-Sales Division. We now boast a team of dedicated, qualified experts with a very high focus on individual customer groups in the Commercial Vehicle business. Zawawi Mercedes-Benz customers can rest assured that they are receiving world class service with every visit."
