Launched by Dr. Zawawi, Brigadier (Rtd.) Waleed Zawawi - Deputy Chairman of ZTC parent company, OMZEST, Peter Trettin - President & CEO Daimler Central Eastern Europe, Africa & Asia, and ZTC CEO - Automotive, Craig Hardie, plaques commemorating the event were unveiled.
The new facility is the flagship of an ambitious roadmap to become the Sultanate's market leader in both the luxury and commercial vehicle segments within five years.
Attended by over 100 VIP guests, the new Zawawi Mercedes-Benz Muscat facilities includes a new showroom and customer area, dedicated pre-owned Proven Exclusivity area, dedicated Mercedes-AMG area, all new air conditioned Passenger Car Active Service Bay with revamped integrated Passenger Car Service Reception, that will percolate perfect espressos and lattés from a premium coffee bar.
Oman's first ever Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles Sales Centre at the facility forms an essential new string to Zawawi Mercedes-Benz' bow. Displayed are an impressive range of resilient and reliable Mercedes-Benz trucks, vans, and buses, as well as brands from Daimler Trucks North America - Freightliner and Western Star - plus Detroit Diesel and Thomas Built Buses. A dedicated After Sales entrance and service reception will provide additional convenience for Commercial Vehicles customers too. The launch follows the inauguration of a new Zawawi Mercedes-Benz State of the art Commercial Vehicles centre in Haima, providing new standards of service for customers in an area covering over 70,000 square kilometres.
Plans have also been unveiled for the construction of a new facility in the industrial hub of Sohar.
To celebrate the new showroom openings, Zawawi Mercedes-Benz is inviting customers to come and enjoy special promotions on vehicles and services from the 11th of November. Fantastic offers available include a 4-year Integrated Service Package (ISP) offer valid from 11th -30th No-vember.
