New Zealand's Opus eyeing Mideast market

New Zealand-based global multi-disciplinary infrastructure consultancy Opus International Consultants has asked its shareholders to approve a joint-venture with a sister firm to target the Middle East market, BusinessDesk has reported. Under the proposed plan, the Wellington-based firm is to set up a venture with Opus International (OIMB) to target consultancy and project management opportunities in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and any other countries the two partners agree on. Shareholders are set to vote on the plan during their annual meeting on April 20 in Christchurch.
