Zomato expands Middle Eastern presence with Doha launch

Zomato.com, South-Asia's largest online restaurant and night-life guide has further expanded its presence in the Middle East, launching its Doha section both on the web.
Zomato.com provides in-depth information on over 1,200 restaurants in Doha, making it the most extensive restaurant discovery platform for anyone looking to dine-out or order delivery in the city. Zomato's strength is the detailed information on every restaurant in the city, such as contact information, timings, scanned menus, photos and mapped coordinates. On mobile, Zomato's location-aware applications provide information on all the restaurants around a user's location. All of Zomato's features - menus, photos, mapped coordinates, ratings, and reviews are available and are fully supported on the mobile applications as well.
Zomato is now over 4 years old and attracts upward of 10 million users every month who use the platform to discover the best places to eat around them. Founded by Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah in July 2008 for restaurants in New Delhi, India, Zomato has since expanded its services to 19 cities across India, United Kingdom, UAE, Sri Lanka, and now Qatar, covering over 73,000 restaurants. Zomato plans to further expand its reach into continental Europe, Middle East, South America and South East Asia in 2013.
