Part of a wider initiative designed by Al-Futtaim Group’s Emiratisation Department and its continuous efforts to develop and integrate Emiratis within the Group’s various sectors, a group of 39 young Emirati students recently graduated from a month-long summer training programme from Al-Futtaim Automotive Group and its various divisions.
The graduation ceremony was recently held at Al-Futtaim Learning Centre and was attended by senior representatives from the Group including John Harker, Group Director – HR and Zuhair Al Haj, Director of HR and Localisation in the MENA region, and Alia Hassan, Nationalisation Learning and Development Manager, Al-Futtaim Automotive Academy.
The month-long training programme empowered the young Emiratis to acquire expertise from Al-Futtaim Automotive Group and its various divisions, while adding maximum value to their learning curves and personal development.
“We are pleased to dedicate our resources towards the development of the Emirati youth. We hope this will contribute in sculpting them into the future leaders of the industry,” said Len Hunt, President – Al-Futtaim Automotive Group.
