Abu Dhabi to have 16,000 more Indian school places by 2016

The Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) has announced that Indian schools in the capital are to have an additional 16,700 places within the next four years, The National has reported. The projected increase will be achieved through a higher intake by certain schools and the opening of three new schools within two years, Adnec said. The regulator has already given land to three investors who will build Indian schools, and is still inviting investors to apply for land.
