Ajman’s real estate trading volume hits AED500 million in August

Al Mowaihat 2 area accounted for the largest number of transactions, amounting to 29 per cent

Hareb Salem Al Aryani, the director general of Ajman Land Department, says that the real estate trading volume in the emirate amounted to AED500 million during August.

Al Aryani adds that the number of trading transactions recorded in the Land Department reached 172 during this month, noting that Al Mowaihat 2 area accounted for the largest number of transactions, amounting to 29 per cent.

This was followed by Al Mowaihat area accounting for 22 per cent, while Al Mowaihat 1 area accounted for 18 per cent, he adds, reports UAE-based Aliqtisadi.

Al Aryani stresses that the real estate market in Ajman is witnessing a remarkable growth during the current period and further growth is expected in the coming period with the completion of a number of infrastructure projects and the completion of the first phase of the development of Sheikh Zayed Road Project, extended to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street.
