HE Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has recently received a delegation from Beit Al Khair Society in Dubai headed by Saeed Mubarak Al Mazroui, Deputy General Manager of the Society; and Abdullah Mohammed Al Ostaz, Assistant General Manager.
The event was attended by Yousef Al Rida, CEO of Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector at the RTA.
The delegation of Beit Al Khair Society praised RTA’s efforts in supporting the activities and initiatives of the Society and gave a briefing about strategies, plans and projects undertaken by the Society.
It also outlined the growing expenditure of the Society to abstinent and limited-income families in the UAE as well as widows, orphans, seniors, disabled and needy students.
“The Society has branches in four Emirates namely Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaima and Ajman. The Society, which also manages four centers affiliated to Al Maktoum Foundation, offers assistance to more than 38 thousand families and has 370 employees & volunteers,” added Mubarak.
Al Tayer commended the huge efforts of Beit Al Khair Society and its diverse initiatives & charitable projects it undertakes for the benefit of families, individuals and students.
He added: that “The RTA would continuously lend support to public-benefit societies offering service to all community members.”
