alizz islamic bank’s Headquarters has revitalised the skyline of the Commercial Business District (CBD) with a contemporary Islamic structure, which offers an inspirational workspace to provide customers an excellent journey to avail innovative Shari’a compliant products and services. Designed by Lines&Visions, an internationally recognised architectural and interior design consultancy, the refurbished Alizz Tower features curved corner glass panels symbolising prosperity and stability, part of alizz islamic bank’s corporate ethos, and was completed in a record four months.
“Inside and out, Alizz Tower embodies who we are as a people-driven organisation rooted in Islamic tradition. The interior fosters a motivating environment that allows for better synergies, greater efficiency and collaboration among colleagues that will ultimately translate into improved quality of service for customers,” said Eng. Yousuf Al Balushi, Project Manager of Alizz Tower at alizz islamic bank.
“Every part of the building was deliberately fashioned so that the end result would be a building of enduring beauty and value that balances the expectations of our customers with the desire for a state-of-the-art workplace. We believe our design successfully achieves both these goals,” Al Balushi added.
The refurbishing works took into consideration environmentally-friendly practices and maintained most of the original building structure. A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system was carefully planned for added comfort levels, while a power system was fitted with energy-saving sensors. To support ‘Made in Oman’ products, many of the interior decorations were custom made locally out of maple wood, marble and granite materials with international quality standards.
alizz islamic bank has seen steady growth since opening its doors to customers on the 30th of September 2013. Expansion plans in 2014 include opening of new branches, while continuing to grow the workforce. The Alizz Tower is equipped to handle further renovations to add more office space in the future to accommodate these growth plans.
