Arab French Company for Dairy and Cheese Products (AFDPL), a leading Egyptian dairy products manufacturer specialising in premium cheese products, announced that it will participate in the Gulfood exhibition (gulfood.com), held on 8 – 12 February 2015, in Dubai, UAE, where it will showcase its range of cheese products to regional and international attendees.
A subsidiary of the French group Soparind Bongrain, the European leader in cheese and dairy products, AFDPL’s participation at Gulfood is part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in the Arab Gulf markets, particularly UAE and KSA, as well as Africa and South East Asia.
“We are pleased to be introducing some new products to the regional markets, in addition to our core brand Milkana, which will also see a new and improved recipe that gives consumers a delicious, healthy and nutritional cheese product for the whole family,” said Medhat Azer, General Manager of AFDPL.
“The new Milkana cheese products will be on par with some of the world’s favourite cheese brands and allows the company to competitively increase its export capabilities and acquire a strong market share across the region.”
Headquartered in Egypt, with a manufacturing facility at Alexandria’s Borg Al Arab industrial zone, AFDPL is a leading dairy producer in Egypt. Its ties to Soparind Bongrain, a global leader in cheese specialties and food products operating across the six continents, provides it with French expertise in cheese manufacturing that is coupled with local manufacturing capability and resources.
“Arab French Company for Dairy and Cheese Products is a trusted cheese manufacturer and produces premium and tasty cheese products under the Milkana brand, using the best milk, ingredients and processing methods to produce cheese for the whole family to enjoy,” said Ahmed Refaat, Marketing Director at AFDPL.
“With Milkana products already exported across the region, we are keen to enhance our distribution network with new partners, particularly in the Gulf markets such as the UAE and KSA.”
Also present at the show will be Karim Adel, Product Manager, and Wahid Shehata, Export Manager.
The company has revamped its Milkana brand and developed a new recipe for its cheese as it looks to increase its market share in the Gulf and other Middle Eastern countries. The new recipe and brand identity will enable Milkana to offer premium quality, tasty cheese products and allow it to compete against major premium brands.
