Baker & McKenzie Habib Al Mulla appoints Omar Momany as a partner

Omar is admitted to the Bar Association of Jordan and has worked as the head of the UAE Practice Group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Leading UAE law firm Baker & McKenzie Habib Al Mulla has appointed Omar Momany as a partner, further strengthening its Corporate and Dispute Resolution offering in the region.

Omar is the second partner to join the firm this year and the fifth lateral partner to have joined since Baker & McKenzie and Habib Al Mulla merged in July 2013, bringing the total number of partners based in the UAE to 14.

The new appointment reflects Baker & McKenzie Habib Al Mulla’s commitment to offering a comprehensive and high-quality service to both local and international clients in the UAE and the Middle East. Omar has been based in the UAE for over a decade and has extensive experience in corporate transactions, public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory and policy matters, commercial matters and corporate/shareholder disputes across the Middle East region. He has regularly represented leading local and regional corporates, financial institutions, listed companies, governments and regulatory bodies, multinationals and family businesses.
