The Qatar Exchange 20 Index declined by 1.53 per cent to hit 11,811.75 points on Tuesday, January 6.
Barwa Real Estate dived three per cent to close at QAR38.80. Earlier in the day, the developer said it had concluded on January 4 the purchase and transfer of the 50 per cent shareholding of the Lusail Golf Development Company through its fully owned subsidiary Barwa International. Lusail Golf is a Qatari Company with Limited Liability, located in Qatar with a capital of QAR10 million.
With the completion of this transaction, Barwa Group now owns 100 per cent of the shareholding of Lusail Golf, with a 50 per cent shareholding initially owned by Barwa Real Estate.
