BBK receives licence for fourth branch in India

Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) has announced plans to have a five-branch operation in Indian, Gulf Daily News has reported. This comes after the Reserve Bank of India granted BBK a licence for its fourth branch, to be located in New Delhi, which would be opened later this year. “We plan to open one more branch after which we will decide on a corporate structure in terms of a special purpose vehicle to manage our India presence,” said BBK chairman, Murad Ali Murad.
