Biz Group, the Middle East’s leading corporate training and teambuilding company has restructured its operations to better support the evolution of the regional HR industry.
Under the new brand strategy, the company has dropped its three interdependent brands – biz-ability, biz-strategy and biz-events – and aligned its core services of training, teambuilding and transforming workplace cultures under a refreshed biz group identity.
The new Biz Group corporate identity was unveiled at the HR Summit and Expo, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 16th – 18th November 2015. The 22-year-old company says the restructure will mean it is better placed to support the changing nature of employee learning and development across the region through the cross promotion of its services.
“The last decade has seen enormous changes in the way we learn. Technological advances, increasing customer demands, stiffer competition, and rapidly changing products are transforming the traditional workplace. Today’s employees are overwhelmed, distracted and impatient. Businesses must therefore change how they interact with these modern learners in order to get the best results from them,” explains Hazel Jackson, CEO, Biz Group.
While Biz Group has always focused on people performance, its new brand strategy highlights the value that comes when modern leaders intersect with aligned teams and strong organisational cultures to create an engaged and high performing workforce. To surpass their competition in the coming years, businesses will need to rethink their approach to human capital, moving away from the traditional approach of sporadic investment in training and events, and adopting advanced workplace strategies – simultaneously building leadership at every level, accelerating skills development, and driving engagement through the right corporate culture.
Jackson adds: “It is important that Biz Group retains its established values, but at the same time develops a modern identity that reflects the changing business climate. Organisations regionally, as well as globally, see an urgent need to transform their leadership, culture and engagement, and learning and development to improve financial performance and employee retention, and drive growth. The landscape for how companies lead, manage, develop and inspire people has greatly evolved over the years – this challenges our existing people practices. If we are to help our clients address these new issues and continue to develop as a firm, we recognise the need for change.”
A company that adheres to its fundamental belief of engaged and empowered people, and the right corporate culture being key to success, Biz Group ranked first in human development capital, one of the six evaluation parameters of the Dubai SME 100 ranking, earlier this week. This recognition follows being named as the number one ‘Most Distinguished SME to Work for in the UAE’ by Great Place to Work® Institute UAE, for the second consecutive year, in March 2015.
Providing consulting services in corporate training, teambuilding and organisational transformation, Biz Group has undergone a total brand review as part of a deliberate strategy that marks the company’s commitment to the Middle East market. As part of the transformation, Biz Group is set to move into its new office space and launch a new corporate website by the end of the year.
