A delegation of representatives of 21 British companies arrived in Cairo on a week-long mission to discuss investments in education, skills development and vocational training.
The mission included representatives of some UK universities, colleges and leading private providers of training services who are specialised in providing a wide range of diverse educational and professional training services, Egypt-based Al Wafd Newspaper reports.
These services include recognised credits at the level of specialised areas and professional qualifications, training teachers and training programmes specialised in the development of specific skills.
Members of the delegation will meet with a wide range of Egyptian training and education companies, universities, schools and institutions in Cairo and Alexandria.
The British Ambassador in Cairo, John Kasn says: “Many major British companies consider Egypt a breeding ground filled with wonderful opportunities and wonderful environment for exercising commercial activities. This trade mission will prove that there are golden opportunities for British businesses in Egypt.”
