Cisco in talks to train Jordanian school students

Cisco Systems has said it is in talks with the Jordan education ministry to implement a project to train school students on computer and gadget maintenance, Jordan Times has reported. Under the proposed project, Cisco Systems is to provide training to teachers who will in turn educate students, and Cisco will also provide the necessary curricula and tools to conduct the training, Mohamed Jinini, networking academy area manager for Levant countries at Cisco Systems, told the daily. “We have recently started discussions with the ministry, and we look forward to receiving their feedback soon, as the project will provide students with IT skills that will help them better understand the sector and think of opening businesses in the future,” said Jinini.
