Coca-Cola’s groundbreaking campaign inspires Lebanese to share moments of happiness

The Coca-Cola Company recently launched in Lebanon the infamous personalized brand campaign known as: ‘Share a Coke’, inviting people to enjoy the world’s favorite soft drink with friends and family in a personalized way.

The launch event took place at Junkyard Beirut and was attended by many celebrities and media personalities who came to celebrate Coca-Cola’s biggest personalized brand campaign ever along with Lebanese entertainers.

For the first time across Levant and Gulf countries, the Share a Coke campaign sees the iconic Coca-Cola logo substituted with common and popular Lebanese first names and nicknames on cans of Coca-Cola. The “Share a Coke” campaign, which first launched in Australia in 2011 and has since rolled out in more than 50 countries, invites fans to find their names and the names of family members, friends, coworkers and people they’d like to know.

Tayyar continued, “The festive season is the perfect time to get together with others and share moments of happiness over an ice-cold Coca-Cola at family and friend reunions, sporting events, outings and other gatherings. Now, enjoying a Coke with ones’ name on it and sharing the occasion with someone else makes these moments even more special”.

The roll out of the ‘Share a Coke’ campaign in Lebanon demonstrates the Coca-Cola Company’s firm belief in a country considered for long as a trend-setter in the region, and reveals its commitment to strengthen ties with modern and stylish Lebanese consumers.

The ‘Share a Coke’ campaign was devised to encourage Lebanese consumers to enjoy a ‘Coca-Cola moment’ with friends: the personalized cans making unique, collectible gifts for others, sparking conversations, or being something that named individuals can enjoy with pride. The campaign is also alive in popular streets, universities and malls allowing fans to customize their coke cans and sheering someone in their lives. Fans are invited to visit Coca-Cola Christmas tree in Beirut Souks and enjoy the festive season spirit with someone they love.
