Credit Agricole to shut down Dubai M&A operations

French lender Credit Agricole has announced plans to shut down its MENA mergers and acquisitions (M&A) business in Dubai and move the operations back to its Paris office, Reuters has reported. "The move will affect around five to six people," Bernard Mignucci, senior country officer for the UAE, told the news service. They had been offered other roles within the bank, but most had declined, he said.
