Dubai health facilities received 7746 patients during the Eid Al Adha holidays.
These patients visited DHA hospitals and health centres from the 23rd to the 26th of September.
Of the total number of patients; 5,411 patients visited DHA hospitals ( Dubai, Rashid Latifa and Hatta) and the remaining 2,335 patients visited DHA’s primary healthcare centres.
Dr Ahmad Bin Kalban, CEO of Hospital Services Sector at the DHA said that emergency departments of all hospitals functioned round-the-clock and of the 5411 hospital visits, 3851 were visits to the emergency department, 565 were admissions, 679 were walk in visits and 316 were visits to out-patient clinics.
Dr Manal Taryam, CEO of Primary Healthcare Centre at the DHA, said that of the 2335 patients that visited the DHA PHC’s, 37 visited Al Lusaily PHC which was open on Saturday, 1332 visited the Nad Al Hamar PHC and 966 visited Al Barsha PHC.
She said both Nad Al Hamar and Al Barsha are 24 hour primary healthcare centres that continued to provide the community with health services round-the-clock throughout the Eid Al Adha holidays.
