Doha Bank introduces Apple iWatch banking solution

New service is introduced as a special offer to celebrate Qatar National Day

Doha Bank is renowned as a prime mover of banking technology and always strives to offer innovative products for its customers.

Now, Doha Bank has become the first and only bank in Qatar to introduce Apple iWatch banking, which adds a new channel to the Bank’s existing portfolio of digital services which include Internet banking, SMS banking, mobile banking, Doha Sooq, and more.

Doha Bank Apple iWatch banking solution offers multiple banking services to customers covering account balances, profile, account transactions, utility bills payment, currency exchange as well as other service requests. New and existing Doha Bank customers can now download the Bank’s new mobile banking application from Apple app store where they can also avail Apple iWatch banking solution. The new service features a self-registration process that allows customers to take advantage of the new digital experience by instantly availing Apple iWatch and mobile banking application, thereby eliminating the need for customers to visit a branch location.

Dr. Seetharaman pointed out that Apple iWatch banking from Doha Bank is a first-of-its-kind service in Qatar, and added that Doha Bank, as part of its digital strategy, has already initiated plans to introduce many more such innovative digital products to provide a convenient banking experience to customers.
