His Excellency Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, said: “ Flag Day is an opportunity for Dubai Health Authority employees to reinforce our commitment towards the nation. The UAE flag is a symbol of our love, pride and respect for our country and its leaders. We pledge to continue working towards the development of our country. We are proud of our leaders and our country and we thank our leaders for their wise leadership and for the growth and opportunities they have provided us.”

Flag Day falls on November 3, the day of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s accession as President of the UAE.

Employees working at the DHA gathered at the DHA headquarters where the Flag Day ceremony took place. More than 5000 flags were distributed across DHA entities including its hospitals and health centres. Patients at DHA hospitals and health centres also took part in the celebrations.
