Dubai Industrial City raises UAE Flag on 3 November

Dubai Industrial City was established in 2004 to accelerate the growth and expansion of the UAE’s industrial sector.

Dubai Industrial City, the leading manufacturing and logistics hub in the GCC region and a member of TECOM Group celebrated the UAE Flag Day to commemorate the anniversary of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s assumption of office as the leader of the country.

The celebration came in response to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai to all federal and local government entities to raise the UAE flag at the same time at 12 noon on 3 November, 2015.

During the celebrations, Saud Abu Alshawareb – Executive Director Partner Relations, in Dubai Industrial City, along with senior staff and employees hoisted the UAE national flag in the courtyard of the City’s headquarters.

On the national occasion, Abdulla Belhoul, CEO, Dubai Industrial City said: “Today we join all the citizens and residents of the UAE in celebrating the country’s Flag Day. This day offers an opportunity to all of us to be inspired by the efforts and vision of our founding fathers, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and their brothers. On this occasion, we renew our commitment towards our country to continuously work to achieve excellence and keep the nation’s flag flying high.”
