The value of real estate deals in Dubai Land Department (DLD) amounted to AED3.1 billion, according to the weekly reports issued by the department.
The DLD witnessed the registering of 915 deals valued at AED1.7bn, 631 deals of them are for land sales worth AED1.2bn and 284 deals for villa and apartment sales worth AED500 million, reports UAE-based Al Bayan.
The most important land sale deals were in Al Nahda 2 worth AED98m, followed by an AED60m deal in Hassyan 2.
Al-Yafrah 3 topped all areas in number of deals and registered 123 sales deals worth AED230m, followed by Saih Shuaib 1 with 89 deals worth AED120m.
With regard to deals for apartments and villas, a sale deal in Burj Khalifa area was the most important deal worth AED14m.
Mortgages recorded AED1.4bn, including 67 land mortgages worth AED1.2bn, and mortgages of 130 villas and apartments worth AED200m. The most important mortgage was in the area of Nad Al Sheba worth AED480m.
