Education New Zealand invites students to be part of a World-Class Education Experience at GHEDEX 2014, organised by OITE Trade Fairs and taking place from 22nd-24th April, 2014 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
“Omani students can enjoy living in New Zealand, as well as getting a world-class education,” says Tony Davies, New Zealand’s Education Counsellor for Oman.
“Omani students get great support in New Zealand, from the Oman Honorary Consul and the Omani Students’ Association of New Zealand, who are able to help students with advice and tips for making the most of their New Zealand experience,” said Mr. Davies.
A Memorandum of Cooperation has cemented the relationship between New Zealand and the Oman Ministry of Higher Education.
New Zealand education institutions attending GHEDEX 2014 include University of Auckland, University of Otago, University of Waikato, Waikato Institute of Technology, Unitec Institute of Technology and CCEL College of English.
New Zealand offers a very wide range of programmes including engineering, aviation and health sciences which attracts students from around the world. Many Omani students have studied in New Zealand over the last ten years.
Oman’s preferred higher education exhibition-GHEDEX, falls under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and will see accredited national, international, local and regional colleges and universities highlight the latest developments in the field of education to students, parents and visitors.
