Egypt’s Kabo loses EGP4 in output due to strike

Egypt's El Nasr Clothing & Textile Co (Kabo) has said a labour strike since August 17 had lost the company production worth 4 million Egyptian pounds ($672,300) and disrupted exports worth 3 million pounds, Reuters has reported. Many Egyptian workers, emboldened by the uprising that toppled President Hosni Mubarak, have gone on strike demanding better wages and conditions. Most of the strikes have died down, but sporadic outbursts continue, according to the news service.
