Dubai’s Emaar Properties listed a $750 million sukuk on Monday on Nasdaq Dubai, the stock exchange said in a statement.
With the listing, the total value of sukuk listed in Dubai has gone up to $45.55 billion, underlining the emirate’s position as the world’s largest sukuk listing centre by value.
Emaar’s first sukuk issue of $500m listed on the bourse in July 2012.
Earlier this month, two sukuk were listed on the exchange, one with a value of $500m issued by Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) and the other a $250m issuance from Emirates Islamic.
SIB had issued sukuk listings twice in the past and Emirates Islamic has four such listings on Nasdaq Dubai.
So far this year Nasdaq Dubai has listed 14 sukuk with a total value of $10bn.
