Eton Institute celebrates eight years of success with cultural extravaganza

Despite its overwhelming diversity, the UAE shows a surprising and coherent intermix of cultures. In such an ethnically rich land, people look for opportunities to embrace the traditions and cultures of people of the many nationalities who live here. On its 8th birthday Eton Institute helped achieve just that and much more.

The theme following Eton Institute’s 8th birthday was celebrating culture Carnival Style. Morning until evening saw a host of cultural activities; henna from the Arabic world, Venetian Masks from Italy and Flamenco from Spain to name just a few. With up to 25% discount on courses, hourly prizes, games, music, Photo Booth, Arabic Calligraphy and a long list of activities throughout the day, Eton Institute made sure that everyone left with a smile.

“Each year we strive to make Eton Day better than previous years. This year we went all out to cater to as many individuals as possible with our cultural Carnival theme. Opening our minds to new cultures and traditions opens the way to lifelong learning, and we wanted to make sure that everyone of all ages enjoyed the chance to try the unique as much as we do. From adult learners in the morning and evening to families in the afternoon, the day was about people and their cultures, and the chance to experience the new together,” commented Sue Brett, Group Marketing Director.

She added, “The response was truly heartwarming with many kind wishes from our well-wishers. We would like to thank everyone for making Eton Day 2014 a day to remember.”
