The total value of goods and vehicles exported from Jordanian free zones amounted to JOD242 million during November.
According to a statement by the Jordanian Free Zones Corporation, the total value of goods exported from the free zones to external markets and internal markets for November amounted to JOD104m, JOD53m of which went to the external market and JOD51m to the domestic market, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
The statement pointed out that the exported vehicles from the zones to the external markets and local markets amounted to JOD138m for November, JOD62m of which went to the external markets and JOD76m to the local market.
The free zones exported 12,832 vehicles, 5,900 of which were sent outside the Kingdom and 6,800 were for local use, Petra added.
It’s worth mentioning that Jordan’s free zone areas were established to promote export-oriented industries and transit trade.
