UAE-based Galadari Ice Cream, Baskin-Robbins’ biggest master franchisee worldwide, is planning to add 350 stores to its current network of 650 outlets in the region within the next two to three years to reach 1,000, The National has reported. “Over the last five years we’ve doubled our business in the Middle East,” said Abdulmonem Suliman, the general manager for Galadari Ice Cream. “We are the No 1 ice-cream player in the region. We have a very strong foothold in all of the GCC countries,” Suliman added. The firm currently operates 156 stores in the UAE, and aims to reach 165 by the end of the year.
